Snipping Tool

I have Windows XP on my computer not Vista. This made it very hard for me to use the snipping tool that is available on Vista. I could not find an update for Windows that would add the snipping tool, but I did find a website that offered a free snipping tool that I could download onto my computer. I hope this was a safe procedure, but I would several reviews that gave thumbs up on the application. I installed a snipping tool from http://www.bhelpuri.net/Snippy/ that was very easy to use.


I used the snipping tool to cut a section of the FAFSA home page. I find myself very busy in the month of Febraury and March helping my students with their FAFSA applications. I am currently creating a handout that my students will be able to use as a guide when completing
their applications. The snipping tool is much easier to use than the print screen function and cropping out the section I want to use in the handout.
